Our Philosophy
The CRA/Community Development Department of Nevada State Bank is committed to promoting and improving our Nevada community. This key commitment is exemplified through our community partnerships, our focus on affordable housing for low-to-moderate income individuals, our charitable contribution programs, our employee volunteerism, our advocacy of financial education, and our loan and grant programs targeted to improve the quality of the lives of Nevada residents.
Reinvesting in the Community
Nevada State Bank has a long history of commitment to reinvesting in the communities we serve, by supporting programs that promote revitalization and growth. NSB helped fund and support more than 298 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) programs, events, sponsorships and agencies in Nevada during 2006, totaling more than $527,000. These programs play a vital part in supporting the economies of communities throughout Nevada.
The bank's programs focus on maintaining services that ensure that education, affordable housing, human services and recreational activities are available to all residents of Nevada. This is accomplished in a multitude of ways, including monetary contributions, grant sponsorship, city and county projects, and employee volunteerism.

NSB has also established the HOPE program, which provides up to $5,000 down payment assistance to qualified NSB employees.
