Our Money Market account lets you earn a tiered, variable-interest rate on your entire collected daily balance**, with easy ways to access your money market funds. You can access your money by making a withdrawal at any Nevada State Bank office, writing a check, or using the ATM.*

MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT FEATURES

  • Detailed monthly statements show account activity
  • Check Safekeeping (retention of your cleared checks by Nevada State Bank) is provided
  • Limited-transaction money market account. Additional fees apply to excessive transactions.

Minimum Opening Deposit $100.00
Monthly Maintenance Fee$10.00 if minimum daily balance of $1,000.00 is not maintained
Transaction Fees There is an excessive transaction fee of $25.00 per item for clients who exceed the limited six (6) automatic transfers, only three (3) of which may be payments by check to third parties or point of sale (POS) transactions per month.
Interest-Bearing AccountYes. No minimum balance required to earn interest.

**Collected daily balance is the daily total of all cash and cleared checks that have been deposited into your account. Checks drawn on Nevada State Bank are considered cleared the same day they are deposited.

Checks drawn on other financial institutions are not considered cleared until they are paid by the entity on which they are drawn, based on the latest Federal Reserve Bank availability (from 1 to 3 days). Once checks drawn on other financial institutions are paid by them, they become part of the collected balance.
