Nevada State Bank Promotes Megan Comfort to Executive Vice President
LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank has promoted Statewide Small Business Manager Megan Comfort to the rank of Executive Vice President. With more than 20 years of experience at NSB, she joined the bank’s Executive Management Committee in 2023. As the leader of NSB’s bank-wide small business efforts, she leads a small business team of relationship managers and business banking officers across Nevada.
“In her two decades with NSB, Megan has demonstrated an exceptional ability to understand the banking needs of our business community,” said President and CEO Terry Shirey. “Under her leadership, the small business team has grown its market share in the communities we serve, demonstrated its role as advisors to our clients, and we have consistently been a top Nevada lending partner with the U.S. SBA.”
Comfort has a finance degree from UNLV and actively volunteers for local organizations such as Green Our Planet and Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. She is also a member of the Risk Management Association and a 2015 graduate of Leadership Nevada, a Latin Chamber of Commerce program. Comfort is also an instructor for the EDGE Program put on by the Vegas Chamber, which helps woman- and minority-owned businesses impacted by COVID gain access to educational classes related to starting, planning and growing your business.
