Nevada State Bank Launches Statewide ‘Fill the Bus’ School Supplies Drive to Support Communities In Schools of Nevada
LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank (NSB) has teamed up with Communities In Schools of Nevada (CIS) to support the organization’s annual “Fill the Bus” school supplies drive throughout the month of July. NSB branches statewide will serve as convenient drop-off locations for new school supplies, making it easy for community members to give back and support local students.
Supporters can also contribute by making online donations or purchasing items through CIS-curated Amazon Wish Lists, helping ensure students have the tools they need to start the school year ready to learn.
“Helping students access basic school supplies is one of the simplest—and most meaningful—ways we can make an impact,” said Sandi Milton, Senior Vice President and Marketing Director at Nevada State Bank. “Every backpack, notebook, and pencil helps remove barriers to learning. By opening our branches as collection sites, we’re making it easier than ever for our communities to come together and support students across Nevada.”
The drive benefits students in Clark, Elko, Humboldt, and Washoe counties. During the 2025–2026 school year, CIS of Nevada served more than 100,000 students statewide. Most-needed items include backpacks, planners, bookmarks, lunch boxes, highlighters, pencil sharpeners, and composition notebooks.
Three Easy Ways to Give:

- Shop the Amazon Wish Lists: Choose from curated lists by region and ship directly to students in need: Southern Nevada Wish List, Northern Nevada Wish List, Elko and Humboldt Counties Wish List
- Donate Online: Make a monetary contribution at www.donorbox.org/nsb2026fill-the-bus.
Regional Drive Dates:
- Southern Nevada: July 1 – July 20
- Northern Nevada: July 1 – July 27
- Elko: July 1 – July 28
- Winnemucca: July 1 – July 31
All donations will be distributed at local CIS “Fill the Bus” events at the conclusion of each regional drive.
