Nevada State Bank Promotes Kyle Berwager to Senior Vice President
LAS VEGAS – Kyle Berwager has been promoted to senior vice president, underwriting manager at Nevada State Bank. He joined NSB in 2015 as a portfolio risk officer and in April 2020 was promoted to underwriting manager.
“Kyle has a keen understanding of risk and a high attention to detail, making this a well-deserved promotion,” said Shannon Petersen, executive vice president, statewide corporate banking manager.
Berwager began his banking career as a teller while obtaining his MBA, and when an underwriting role opened, he took a chance on the position, which led to him working in multiple underwriting roles for the past 14 years. In his current position, Berwager leads a team of 10 underwriters and supervises three colleagues going through the Nevada State Bank Banker Development Program.
In addition to having obtained his bachelors and masters degrees, Berwager is attending Pacific Coast Banking School and is expected to graduate in August 2022.
