Northern Nevada Development Authority Executive Director Jeff Sutich Joins Nevada
State Bank’s Advisory Board
RENO – Nevada State Bank (NSB) is pleased to announce that Jeff Sutich, executive director of the Northern Nevada Development Authority, has joined its Northern Nevada advisory board. As NNDA’s Executive Director, Sutich brings his commitment to economic growth in Nevada as well as expertise in guiding entrepreneurs from his business experience. Sutich joins Leslie Daane, Dr. Bret Frey, Lance Semenko and Russ Sheltra on the Nevada State Bank Northern Advisory Board led by NSB’s Northern Nevada Executive and Executive Vice President, Rick Thomas.
“Jeff has supported economic development and global trade in the State of Nevada for more than a decade and his perspective on how our community will evolve and where we need to diversify brings tremendous insight to our advisory group,” said Thomas. “His perspective will ensure Nevada State Bank continues to understand and serve the financial needs of the northern region.”
A native of northeastern Nevada, Sutich grew up in Spring Creek before moving to Reno to complete his education, earning his Bachelor of Science in Economics, Bachelor of Arts in International Business, and a master’s degree from the University of Nevada. Sutich comes from six generations of Nevadans and brings a strong passion for economic diversification in Nevada.
Sutich began his career as a labor economist, later transitioned between the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and the Department of Agriculture, where he was the State representative for NAFTA trade disputes, working with companies to export and meet buyers in over 60 countries. Following his State career, Sutich joined NV Energy to support its economic development efforts. A serial entrepreneur, Sutich also co-founded three startups; Suitich LLC (Custom Suits), Dine by Design with Pique-Nique (Luxury Picnics), and Tellio (PAAS App).
