Nevada State Bank Names Two New Reno-Area Branch Managers
RENO – July 30, 2021– Nevada State Bank recently hired two branch managers for its Northern Nevada team. Jennifer King was named VP, branch manager for the West Liberty branch, 1 W. Liberty Street, and Allen Archie is the new VP, branch manager for the Sparks/Prater location, 500 E. Prater Way. King has 18 years of banking experience, including past positions as branch manager/small business banker. Archie has more than 20 years in the industry, and previously worked at NSB as a personal banker and branch manager before relocating.
“Jennifer excelled in business development, operations, and client relations, earning multiple top-performer awards while coaching her team to success at her previous institution. I’m thrilled she’s on our team,” said Debby Herman, senior vice president and retail region manager at Nevada State Bank.
King is affiliated with EDAWN, The Reno/Sparks Chamber, LEAD for Women, and the Asian Leadership Group. She volunteers her time providing financial literacy to local businesses and schools, Dress for Success, Relay for Life, and Toys for Tots, and plans to expand her outreach by joining a local nonprofit board. King obtained her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Walla Walla University, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2019.
Archie is very dedicated to the communities in which he works and lives, most recently having volunteered with Blue Star Mothers, where he created military care packages and raised money. He also volunteered with the HOW Foundation, helping men recover from addiction and re-enter society. He looks forward to helping the Sparks community.
“I’m so excited that Allen has returned to NSB, where he earned multiple awards and served as mentor and peer trainer for new managers and colleagues,” Herman said.
