Nevada State Bank Branches Collecting Personal Care Items for Dress for Success
LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank (NSB) is hosting a month-long donation drive for Dress for Success affiliates in Northern and Southern Nevada. From Thursday, Aug. 1 through Friday, Aug. 30, all NSB branches are collecting much needed items, such as:
- Makeup/Cosmetics – Foundation (all shades), Eye Shadow, Blush, Lipstick, Eye Liner, Mascara, etc.
- Toiletries – Deodorant, Body Spray/Perfume, Hand Sanitizer, Tissues, Mints, etc.
Northern Nevada
- Donations can also be made online to Dress for Success Reno – Northern Nevada.
Southern Nevada
- Items can also be ordered online direct from the Dress for Success Southern Nevada Client Wish List on Amazon.
- Donations can also be made online to Dress for Success of Southern Nevada.
The donation drive seeks not only to support the essential needs of Dress for Success clients, but also to raise awareness for the career support services the organization provides.
“Dress for Success has long been known to provide professional attire to women for job interviews, however many of us were unaware of all the other resources the organization provides,” said NSB Vice President Nicole Shelton, who chairs the bank’s Women’s Leadership group. “When a woman is referred to Dress for Success, they are paired with an image consultant to assist with finding the best fashion and fit, and provided two interview outfits with cosmetics, footwear, and accessories to secure employment. After employment is secured, a full week’s worth of professional attire is provided. The women also have access to additional support services and programs from the network of Dress for Success partner organizations.”
