Katie Grimes Hosts Youth Swim Clinic with Nevada State Bank and Special Olympics
LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank (NSB) is teaming up with CG Sports Company and Special Olympics Nevada to host a one-day swim clinic led by two-time Olympian and Las Vegas native Katie Grimes. This NSB-sponsored special event will offer young swimmers—including athletes from Special Olympics Nevada—the unique opportunity to train with one of the sport's most inspiring athletes at no cost.
The clinic will be held on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pavilion Center Pool, located at 101 S Pavilion Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89144.
Grimes, who competed in the Tokyo 2020 and won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, will lead participants through focused drills and techniques for freestyle and backstroke. Beyond the pool, she will also share her personal journey and insights, aiming to inspire the next generation of swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the water. The clinic will also include an opportunity for participants to take pictures and get autographs with Grimes.
