Craig Kirkland, EVP & Director of Retail Banking at Nevada State Bank Named As Chairmain of the Board for Henderson Chamber of Commerce
HENDERSON – Craig Kirkland has been appointed as the 2022-2023 chairman of the board for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. Kirkland, EVP and director of retail banking at Nevada State Bank, will lead the board of directors and their efforts to serve the Henderson Chamber of Commerce membership for continued advocacy and growth of business throughout the city of Henderson.
“Throughout the years, Craig has been an active member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and a dedicated force to better the opportunity for businesses of all sizes,” said Scott Muelrath, president and CEO of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. “With his decades of experience in banking and finance, he will provide meaningful, strategic insight that will benefit our members for years to come and I look forward to his continued leadership.”
Having just finished chairing the Nevada Bankers Association in July, Kirkland began his chairmanship of the Henderson Chamber, where he has served in multiple capacities for more than a decade. Nevada State Bank is an active member of the chamber, and its employees regularly participate in its programs, including Leadership Henderson.
“The Henderson Chamber of Commerce has been a critical resource for businesses, and I could not be more honored to expand my involvement with the organization and look forward to advocating for businesses of all sizes throughout our community,” said Kirkland.
In his role with the bank, Kirkland leads the retail branch system and is a 2013 graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. He has more than 30 years of experience in banking and writes a regular advice column for the bank’s website titled “Craig’s Common Cents.”
