Nevada State Bank Launches First-Ever Podcast Series ‘Through the Door: The Insider’s Perspective on Running a Business’
LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank (NSB) has launched its first-ever podcast series, “Through the Door: The Insider’s Perspective on Running a Business.” Hosted by Executive Vice President and Small Business Manager Megan Comfort, the series delves into the minds of Nevada’s notable entrepreneurs and business leaders. Guests share their unique business journeys, the challenges they have conquered, and their invaluable insights on entrepreneurship, success, and the ever-evolving Nevada business landscape.
“When Megan approached me with this idea, her goal was to leverage her experiences traveling across the state and connecting with business owners and executives for the benefit of fellow Nevadans,” said Nevada State Bank President and CEO Terry Shirey. “We hope ‘Through the Door’ will foster fresh perspectives, inspire solutions to obstacles, and most importantly, open doors for our listeners.”
As Small Business Manager at NSB, Comfort has dedicated her career to connecting with business owners and executives across the Silver State. With a passion for uncovering what drives Nevada’s business leaders, she engages guests in authentic conversations aimed at sparking new ideas.
“The idea for this podcast stems from my over 20 years in Small Business at NSB, during which I’ve had the honor of working with and learning from many inspiring business owners and operators,” said Comfort. “The experiences and knowledge they shared with me helped me grow as a leader, communicator, team player, and business owner.”
The premiere episode of “Through the Door,” titled “Burning Holes in the Soles of Your Shoes,” was released on Tuesday, Oct. 1, and features inaugural guest Hayim Mizrachi, CCIM, CEO/Principal/Broker of MDL Group, Southern Nevada’s leading commercial real estate services provider.
