Nevada State Bank Hires Managing Gaming Director
LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank has hired banking veteran Kevin Grimes as senior vice president and managing gaming director. In this role he is responsible for leading the bank’s gaming team, which focuses on serving the unique needs of the gaming industry.
“Our gaming group has an incredibly strong foundation, and I’m confident under Kevin’s leadership the team will see even more success within this vibrant industry,” said Shannon Petersen, executive vice president and corporate banking manager at Nevada State Bank.
Grimes brings more than 10 years of corporate banking experience to his role, having previously worked as a portfolio and relationship manager for national banks. Most recently, Grimes managed a nearly billion-dollar gaming portfolio for US Bank. He has extensive experience working with the gaming industry, and he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at NSB. Grimes is a former football player for the University of Nevada, and he’s a member of the University of Nevada Business Fraternity Alumni and the Nevada Football Alumni Association.
Grimes holds a Bachelor of Science in finance with a minor in economics. He and his wife Sabina have two young children. When not working, they love to ski, hike, bike, and travel abroad.
