Megan Comfort is as Executive Vice President and Director of Business Banking, overseeing Small Business and SBA Lending statewide for Nevada State Bank. With 21 years of commercial lending experience, she joined the bank’s Executive Management Committee in 2023.

Comfort’s team works with small to midsize businesses and their owners to deliver tailored financial solutions, often collaborating with Treasury and Wealth Management to offer a full suite of services. Comfort also oversees SBA for NSB resulting in #1 statewide lender since 2016.

A Las Vegas resident for over 23 years, Comfort is active in the community through organizations like Green Our Planet and Junior Achievement. She is a graduate of Leadership Nevada, Leadership Las Vegas, and teaches in the Vegas Chamber’s EDGE Program, supporting women- and minority-owned businesses.

Comfort was named one of American Banker’s  Most Powerful Women in Banking: NEXT in 2024, recognized as VEGAS INC’s 40 Under 40 in 2025, and is the host of NSB’s business podcast, “Through the Door: The Insider’s Perspective on Running a Business.” As a local small business owner in addition to banker, she brings keen understanding and perspective of what small business owners go through on a daily basis.

Comfort holds a finance degree from UNLV and has completed additional coursework through the American Bankers Association and the American Institute of Banking.
