Megan Comfort oversees Small Business and SBA Lending statewide as Executive Vice President and Small Business Manager for Nevada State Bank. With 21 years of commercial lending experience, she joined the bank’s Executive Management Committee in 2023.

 

Megan’s team works with small to midsize businesses and their owners to deliver tailored financial solutions, often collaborating with Treasury and Wealth Management to offer a full suite of services.

 

A Las Vegas resident for over 23 years, Megan is active in the community through organizations like Green Our Planet and Junior Achievement. She is a graduate of Leadership Nevada and teaches in the Vegas Chamber’s EDGE Program, supporting women- and minority-owned businesses.

 

She was recently named one of the Most Powerful Women in Banking: NEXT by American Banker in 2024, included in VEGAS INC’s 40 Under 40 in 2025, and is the host of NSB’s business podcast, “Through the Door: The Insider’s Perspective on Running a Business.”

 

In addition to her role at the bank, Megan is a small business owner, managing several family-run ventures in Las Vegas. This gives her a better understanding and perspective of what small business owners go through on a daily basis.

 

She holds a finance degree from UNLV and has completed additional coursework through the American Bankers Association and the American Institute of Banking.
