Shannon Petersen, Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Banking, is responsible for all aspects of Corporate Banking in Nevada. She joined Nevada State Bank in 2001, and has been a member of the Executive Management Committee since 2011. Petersen spent four years with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco prior to joining Nevada State Bank. She is a graduate of UC Santa Cruz with a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in finance. She is also a graduate of Leadership Las Vegas, Class of 2011. She is currently serving as a Board Member of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance as well as being a Founding Board Member of the Commercial Banking Advisory Board at UNLV Business School. In 2022-2023, Shannon participated in and graduated from the International Women’s Forum (IWF) Fellowship Program.
