FAQs

1. What are the differences between Online Banking and Direct Connect?

In general, Online Banking uses a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer, to create a secure connection between your computer and the Nevada State Bank website. Online Banking and the Nevada State Bank website give you access to your banking transactions, as well as the ability to pay bills, apply for loans online, etc.

 

Direct Connect uses a Personal Financial Management (PFM) software package such as Quicken®, or QuickBooks®. With your PFM software you can access your Nevada State Bank account and download banking information into your software's check register, as well as pay bills.

2. How do I enroll in Online Banking?

Personal account holders can enroll in three different ways:

 

  • Apply online. Click here to begin this easy process.
  • Ask a friendly representative at any Nevada State Bank Branch.
  • Contact Online Banking at 1-888-835-0551.

3. How often do transactions in the Online Banking system update?

Once per business day, usually prior to 8:00 a.m. (Pacific Time)

4. How much does Online Banking cost?

Personal Online Banking

Access to your personal accounts (view balances, transactions, and transfer funds via your Internet browser) is provided at no cost.* The optional Bill Payment service is free* for personal accounts with no limit on the number of bill payments that can be paid per month.

 

Business Online Banking

The optional Bill Pay service for business accounts is $9.95 a month for up to 20 bill payments, and $0.50 per additional bill payment.*


*Does not include Internet Service Provider fees. Certain business accounts do not have a monthly service fee for bill pay. Only excessive transaction fees. Please refer to your specific account disclosure and fee schedule for details.

5. How do I find out my password if I have forgotten it?

Contact Online Banking Support toll-free at 1-888-835-0551 to request a temporary password.

6. How do I add additional accounts to Online Banking?

Contact Online Banking Support toll-free at 1-888-835-0551 to request linking of active accounts that do not currently appear on the Internet.
